Ripping A slice of audio

Hi, Need some help and a starting point. I have a band that is doing a Peter Gabriel song (San Jacinto), I would like to rip the beginning 4 or 5 sec of the open record, and use it on stage. Is this to difficult to sample and trigger on the oasys? If not where can I find info on process?

you can rip from audio cd´s. See the op guide page 143, there is a step by step explaination.
