Korg Pa50 problems with Windows 7?

Post by N-Epsilon »

Hi!
I don't know if this is the appropriate section to post this question..

The problem is that I use Korg Pa50 as midi synth player for years on XP, but now when I have installed Windows 7 I can't find a way to connect it properly to work in Cubase (I use Cubase 5).
Is there a problem with compatibility between Korg Pa50 and Windows 7?
I went on the Korg site and search for korg Pa50 'driver' or something.. but I didn't found.
So, my question is: is it the problem in incompatibility, or something else which I do not do correctly in connecting and set up?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the Korg USB-MIDI driver as supplied on cd-rom with my Pa500 did not work on my Windows 7 Pro. I had to download a new driver from the Korg website which was compatible. Is this connected to your Pa50 problem? If so go to http://www.korg.co.uk/downloads/driver/dl_driver.asp and there you may find an answer.
