As with any KORG format sample library, YES… but you have to do it all manually.
You would have to write down what programs use what multisamples, load the multisamples you need, and then map the multisamples back to the programs you want to use.
Takes time… lots of time.
OASYS users can use KSC GEN. A few clicks and the work is done for them.

Sharp.

Sounds like a job for PCG Tools ... I'm not into samples now ... but maybe later and this sounds like a good feature.Sharp wrote:As with any KORG format sample library, YES… but you have to do it all manually.

That's what I've done. It's really time consuming but seems to be the only solution.Sharp wrote:As with any KORG format sample library, YES… but you have to do it all manually.

Its the way the Kronos samples work tho, not K assault's fault but I hope this might be improved in a future version somehow.
It would be VERY handy.michelkeijzers wrote:Sounds like a job for PCG Tools ... I'm not into samples now ... but maybe later and this sounds like a good feature.Sharp wrote:As with any KORG format sample library, YES… but you have to do it all manually.

KSC GEN only works with OASYS ASSAULT, and that seriously does simplify the process down to just a few clicks of a mouse
With your ability to read PCG files, I’m sure you could do a much better job than I did, and make it universal to work with any library.
If you want a copy of KSC GEN to try out, just let me know.

You two are too darn good. After I get to know this monster better I will attempt some of that stuff. It is great having folks around that are that knowledgeable. Overlooking the obvious fact, Sharp, if you weren't around there would be no forum. You guys are great and I am enjoying my morning coffee.

Kronos 2 61, Wavestation A/D, Yamaha Genos and others.

Hello Sharp, I think the next months I will be busy with some other items for PCG Tools but I think sampling is certainly something that I want to add somewhere after that. I will keep it in mind and add it to the wish list and at that time having a good test case would be nice. Probably I first will concentrate on the Kronos, since I have that synth myself so it improves testing speed ... when that works, probably supporting it for the Oasys (and others) is probably reasonably easy.Sharp wrote:It would be VERY handy.michelkeijzers wrote:Sounds like a job for PCG Tools ...
