How to add more tracks to the seqeuncer?(Problem solved.....

Post by RamMicro »

Hello everyone,

I encountered a problem this evening when recording a new song.

Was fooling around with some of the new sounds from Dan Stesco and while playing I press Rec>New Song and pressed Ok and recorded 1 track with that instrument sound.
But when I want to add a new track to play a drum kit it would not work.
I tried a lot of options in de Rec en Song Setup menu but still not a new track, in the manual they only give a idea of recording with a built in Template song.
Try to copy that played track in to another empty track but it not became active.
How to go from here?

I was in Program mode when I pressed Record.

Best Regards,

Ramon

I think I got the answer after searching thru the manual on the PC.

After recording I have to press key 01 and hold it down and then select new tracks...
I hope that this will work...

Gonna try it out tomorrow, if it works that way I will let everyone know here..

Well have to make a reset because I can't add new tracks.
Something is blocking the machine it's seqeuncer.

When multitrack recording did work I will let everyone know this..

Hi Everyone,

Well the problem of not beeing able to record more then one track in the seqeuncer is solved.

It goes wrong after loading the PCG file from Dan Stesco, really cool sound but after loading my Microstation becomes a one track machine.
I hope that other users of the Microstation have that some problem and maybe have a solution for it.

It does not matter if I load the whole file or just parts of it like sounds or combi's.

Best Regards;

Digging up an old thread as I had the same problem....

I'm not certain what the root cause to this is, but I was able to fix it by loading just the global settings from the preload file saved to SD card.
