I don't mean to sound like an ass...but
you don't need videos. you don't need the manual. The time you spend watching TV, you should be spending playing with the Eletribes. That's the point of machines like Electribes and Elektrons. To get away from screens.
I spent hours watching 100's (yes 100s) of videos on how to use Ableton Live. I should be a certified trainer by now, but I get nowhere with it, why?
Cuz I can't stand using a typewriter for music.

Find a factory default pattern that is of a genre you identify with. Mute all the drums and listen to Synth Part 1. LISTEN for a few minutes.

Go to the part Edit Menu and determine what synth was used. Now watch the green led go from left to right, watch for the motion swing light to come on or off, watch the Effect light go on and off, determine what effects were used by selecting the EFX 1, 2, or 3.

Now turn some knobs, now listen. Ask yourself what just happened? Turn another knob, ask yourself again, what just happened?

MUTE this part, UNmute another part, LISTEN, WATCH, TURN KNOBS, LISTEN etc.
You will get farther along by doing instead of just watching. Mute this part and find Synth Part 2. Repeat the above.

Find a Synth part with AUDIO-COMB as the instrument selected. Turn the knob to select WAVEFORM and just a SIN. in the 16 steps, hite 1-3-5-8-12, hit the record and turn a few knobs, LISTEN. Ask, what just happened?

Refer to the manual for descriptions of the knobs you just turned, do you understand? Turn the Modulation to Beat Sync, play with the different values and LISTEN to what each one does.

LISTEN, don't watch, don't monkey see monkey do. LISTEN and LEARN...

Yup. sit back on your sofa, get the emx on your lap, plug in some headphones and like gil videla says...listen to the presets and their parts and 'hear' the contruction. Tweak the hell out of it! Whats the worst that could happen?
You will be starting fom scratch and getting cool patterns going before you know it.

I just bought an EMX a couple weeks ago. My first electribe.

I found a couple tutorial videos. But found them completely boring and not in any music style I was into which made it hard to listen to. So I switched to messing around with the presets, reading the manual, listening, changing things, listening more, changing back, and figuring out what I did.
