why not Ableton, it's got a Video feature. Should be easy to synchronize the audio with video tho I've never tried it.

Audacity will work for a free option, but you have to run the EMX into your line-in on your PC (assuming it doesn't have a PCI soundcard), which won't produce the best audio. Better than the audio from you camcorder though.
An audio interface is usually used for recording 'tribes to PC, or a digital recorder if you want to have a more portable option (both will cost you)

I'm not sure if your Audio2DJ will work as an interface for recording, it looks like it may just be used to connect your PC to a sound system. If it has RCA or TRS inputs, then it might be possible. I'm just going by what I've found online, I have no experience with it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Your method for recording audio and video then matching them up can work and I've done it before with a video editor (NCH Video Pad if you're looking for a free one)

I think I solved The problem. I found a small Audiointerface in my equipment. It has two RCA ins and two RCA outs and a USB Cable for The Computer.
So to put it in a nutshell I'll Record Audio through The Interface with Audacity and Record The Video with my Bad Cam and Cut them together in NCH Video pad.
If I left out something important plss correct.
Thank you

Get a cheap soundcard off ebay, m audio do some good quality cards for very little money.
If you want pro quality at very good prices I can highly recommend most of what Focusrite make.
Spesh the new Saffire range, the Pro 24 series are cheapish and sound very good indeed and also have level meters and work without the software if need be.

Hm, I dont know if I got you right, but the recording unit should be placed at the end of the sound line, so probably instead of a monitor. To check level and stuff, I would connect my headphone to the pc's line out.Weeedbeat wrote:Hey idk where to put the interface in my equipment and how do i record it with my pc?
Hey hou! So after time my equipment increased so i become owner of KORG EMX , Roland TD-9,and Laptop with FL Studio 10. So I just buyed a Tascam US1800 wich isa beast but i need it ^^ So i solved that audio recording problem BUT( i hate that word >.<) now i want to MIDI control FL Studio with my EMX, E-Drum and a Masterkeyboard.Soi buyed a MIDI Interface( M-AudioMIDISPORT 2x2 and so i tried it out with my EMX. BAM BAMBAAAAM(<--dramatic music) First thing when i playa note on the EMX it needs like 6or7 seconds for beeing a sound in FLStudio *WTF saying* . Second i cant set the Knobs to a certain thing on FLStudio... and mooore problems.I can write a book about that... Me and my KORG EMX part 1 -98
