Have you read Pa2x Advanced Edit Manual pp 119? Manual is downloadable at KorpPa.com page.

Also you can just jump in experimenting with some vocoder factory settings in SFX performance bank. Plug mic to Audio In L or R and jam,

Note that you cannot use Mic input because it goes straight to voice processor, but Vocoder is different thing - special FX that can assigned only to FX slot D.

I do not know, but it is worth trying

Comparison list says that Pa800 has vocoder effect and likely it is internally in the same "place" as in Pa2x.
