3 dead notes

I just purchased a new M50-88 and right out of the box. I have 3 dead notes on the keyboard. Not only do they not produce sound out of the M50 but also will not transmit midi data.

I just posted the compatibility issue with Mac OS 10.6.5 thinking that might be the problem.
But I have a feeling this is something more serious.
If anyone has any thoughts on what to do other than returning it I'd love to hear them. I bought it from a store in Atlanta and they are still closed because of the weather.

Return it asap, this has nothing to do with compatibility.
