Footcontroller for Electribe MX (mute/unmute)

Hi everyone!
I just wondering if i can use footcontroller (like korg EXP2) with my electribe MX (the blueone) to mute/unmute some drum/synthparts while playing pattern. If yes pls tell me how. Thx.

I've never figured out how to mute/unmute individual parts via MIDI, but you can change patterns via footpedal. THe Behringer FCB-1010 works like a charm for this.

As a partial workaround, you can assign the volume of two parts to the wah-style pedals on its right side, so you can bring them in and out that way.

What I do is program a few variations on a pattern, assign them to different slots, then switch to the version that has (for example) no bassline or an added drum fill. This also works fine.
