Controlling SW1 for M3M

Post by domc »

I'm trying to use my Virus TI to control my M3M.

Unfortunately you get to be able to assign control to rotary knobs rather than switches. Nevertheless I set up one of the knobs to CC80 and another to CC81 with the hope that I could mimik the behaviour of the switch by turning either to extreme left or right.

This doesn't seem to be working although the one controlling CC80 does seem to have a modulation effect on a number of the programs.

Does anyone know how I might get this to work? or have experience trying to control the M3M with the TI? Any help much appreciated.

Cheers, Domc

External control of the switches (using MIDI CCs) will only work when the function of the switches is set to MIDI CC (for AMS modulation). It won't work when they're set to other functions (such as octave change or joystick lock).
