Tested: Firmware Upgrade to 01.04 on EMX1-SD

So i was checking out the Firmware of my new EMX1-SD and it says:

01.01.00 PCM
01.01.00 Flash
01.01.00 N_Sys
01.00.00 DSP
02.01.00 User

After comparing the Version Numbers in Firmware 01.04 I decided to try upgrading the EMX1-SD with the EMX1 Firmware to check if the Machine will actually accept the files.

The EMX1-SD gave me a "File equal / new" Error Message (something along the line) so my guess is that the files are either incompatible or the files on the EMX1-SD are up-to-date despite their version number.

The Machine is still booting so no harm done.

Someone had to do it first... there you have it lol.

I tryed to update my new emx-sd but i had received the same error.
I don't know why, but maybe the new firmware installed in the new electribes-sd doesn't need updates.
I have also your same firmware in my emx.

PS: i don't understand, in the new firmware there is 02.01.00 User. In old electribes emx and esx there was written 01.01.00. Really don't know why...

The firmware 1.04 is the newest firmware for the 'old' emx-1!

The EMX-SD has a different hardware (SD-card-interface instead of SmartMediaCard-interface), so the old EMX-1-firmware cannot work with the new EMX-1 SD!
The EMX-1 SD started with a new version counter.
