Post by Powelly »

Hi
I want something to hook my r3 up to my computer so i can record the sounds with good quality using [insert software here], so i can make tracks.
I was suggested the m-audio fasttrack pro, but is that the best one for me?
cheers

P.S can anyone suggest some software that i could use?

I can vouch for the M-audio Fast Track Pro.

Its a great little unit and runs of USB power.
Gives midi access, co-axial digital in/ou,t and direct monitoring and phantom power also.

As a recording package, I can't recommend Reaper high enough.
Unlimited tracks, midi recording.

Best of all its virtually free - that is nothing, saving your work or anything else, is disabled in the evaluation version - which is the exact same as the commercial version.
A private license is also available at a very reduced cost - should you want to purchase one, but it isn't necessary to fully use Reaper.
