The M3 doesn't come with External setups for Sonar -- neither in the factory RAM, nor via download from Korg's web site. You get built-in support for Ableton Live, Digital Performer, Cubase, FL Studio, and Garage Band, but not Sonar.Shakil wrote:After you have successfully connected M3 MIDI to SONAR, look into the EXTERNAL controller settings. There are a lot of built in controller maps.
Press EXTERNAL button from the CONTROL ASSIGN group (located at left of the sliders). Then Control Surface tab on M3 screen on P0.
From Setup list select you VSTi if it's already listed, if not you can make your own setup, both by using MIDI learn in SONAR, or specifying the controller messages to be sent for each slider and button.
