Let's hear what you are doing on your PA

Post by keysman »

Moving on from a previous post the ball started to roll where members brave enough started posting up on their playing etc. I know there is a section dedicated to posting your music, but I thought it might be an idea to hear what's on offer from PA owners.

To kick things off here is my arrangement of a lovely easy listening piece written by James Last. Everything you hear is produced from the fantastic PA1XPRO.
I hope you enjoy & I look forward to hearing some of your music :D

Mornings at Seven

Cheers
Keysman

this last one is a style i programmed myself to accompany my favourite choir.

You are hearing the PA1X through its onboard speakers and no other amplification

Very nice Keysman & worth - hope to hear more!
If you're in a more contemplative mood - here an original instrumental song I've dedicated to my wife. Its just piano, flute, french horns and guitar.

and here is an original gospel song all done on the Pa1x.

Here's another - its a midi file with me playing EP, Guitar and singing - also using the voice processor & harmony. Its a rough 'one take' recording.

^^^^
Top man Rueben, liked the use of the voice processor, nice work 8)

To keep the ball rolling here is piece I wrote & arranged a couple of years ago when the day job was not going too well :( Everything you hear is produced from the PA1XPro apart from my vocals.

Time for change

I have just finished recording a classic Shadows number entitled Wonderful Land which I will hopefully post over the weekend. It features the unmistakable Shadows guitar sound, so if anyone is interested I will let you know the settings to produce.

Keep it flowing guys

That's a really cool band you have (yeah I know its the Pa1x but I can't tell the difference) it really sounds live and full - very well done.

Here you go, Wonderful Land with the unmistakable Shadows guitar sound.
This one came about when the guitarist in our band was requested to play this for a concert he was doing with another band. He was a bit concerned as he said he didn't have the music. No prob's I had the music so lent him a copy. As I hadn't played this for some time I thought I would do a bit of arranging this week to see if I could get near the Shadows sound.
I will let you be the judge of whether I achieved or not

Wonderful Land

Hope you enjoy :)

That sounds unbelievably great - I was sure I was listening to a real orchestra. Real very nicely played.
I've mainly been fiddling with re-mixing midi files lately. Here's one that you can play along with Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Iv'e swapped the original piano to a Vintage EP so you can play along with it. It has words and Chords available if you touch the Lyrics Tab.

Keep up the great work keysman - sounds awesome.
Best,
John
