Im new to the microsampler. I connected it via USB to my imac and had cubase open. I accidentally hit the microsampler and noticed it was playing the instrument on that particular song channel. I switched channel and the microsampler played that channel's instrument...
What I'm wondering is can those cubase sounds be sampled note for note as they play?

So your MS-1 is acting as a controller. Nothing strange there - unless the sound is going from Cubase into the MS-1. Is it (use headphones)? Or is it just triggering that instrument on the computer?
If it's coming in, I imagine you can sample it.
But of course, you've likely already figured out. Results?

sorry it took so long to get back - I thought I got a email if there was a response. I didn't actually try to yet - I was kind of waiting for response here as I had many other things to get the hang of too. Yes I guess I got to keep trying..
