Hi all. Just bought my M50 (73) to replace an ageing (but fantastic servant) N364.
Initial views - sounds great, love the keyboard (unlike some posters). Still working on the best method for changing sounds live (wot no 10's hold button?).
I have one question (to which I suspect I know the answer). I need to program some splits and I'm a bit obsessed with trying to reproduce the exact sound of (say) two programs in a combi. I know I can copy the effects of the first program but for the second program can anyone recommend an easy way to get the second program's effects into the combi? Or if not a general method for selecting some basic effects that'll do the job?
New owner - help with splits

First recommendation would be to check Rich Formidoni's video on the effects implementation of the M3/M50 (should be an easy find on YouTube).
I'm no expert on effects, but I have learned a lot by studying the effects routing of some of my favorite combis. Perhaps start there? In general, the more effects that the different timbres can share, the better. But that's pretty obvious, I guess.
