I have the m3 and it has fantastic sounds when I use the headphone. But as I hook it up to the Mackie Mixer I loose the quality of the sound
Is there any way someone can get the same quality of the headphone (may be connection-wise) through the PA
Thanks

HOW exactly is the sound less quality than the headphones? just need to be more specific. A lot of things can affect the quality of sound coming from the speakers. is there a 60 Hz humm? can you hear noise? etc. Is your mixer a stereo mixer? I have seen far too many that are not, double check this, as lack of stereo sound makes for a very flat sound.
If the clarity of the sound is the problem, many times headphones have a better frequency response than speakers. Ideally, 20Hz - 20,000 Hz is what you're looking for, but speakers usually can't reach this range, Higher quality speakers can get pretty close.

Some M3 users (myself included) have experienced problems with the types of instrument cables they use - they don't fully engage the audio connection and you end up with a mono signal. On my M3M one certain pair of cables causes this problem with the R audio output. I have three other pairs of cables that work fine. With the pair of cables that causes a mono signal, if I give it a 1/2 turn sometimes that will causes the stereo signal to work...
