Velocity Sensitive?

So does anyone have any detailed info concerning wether the ESX can respond to velocity when receiving midi? The midi implementation chart says so, but there's no noticable difference when sending triggering sounds via midi, whether it's a velocity of 64 or 127. I turned the Accent SW off for the part with no effect on this too.

I know that work well with emx for synth part & Drum part.
