ESX Effect on factory demo 3-1

"im electribe sampler" ... has a mod delay on it but also a Roll but the roll goes through the whole saying. how did tthey make that work. whenever i do it i cant get that effect to work.

I remember that preset and remember going "what the hell"!?!?
It could have something to do with the BPM (which affects the roll) and the Time signature used for that pattern that it's on.
Not sure though.....
