Which is the Perfect Setup for following: R3, AKAI MPD32...l

Hello there,

As an amateur in Sound & Music Technology im trying to make the following coopoerate:

1) KORG R3 (Midi in-out-thru)
2) AKAI MPD32 Drum Machine (Midi in-out και usb)
3) Korg Nanokey Midi Keyboard (USB)
4) Alesis Line link
5) Edirol UM 3EX Midi Interface
6) Macbook Pro (Logic 8 Sequencer)

Ι was wondering which is the best setup (connectivity) in order to get the best (sound result) out of them. Actually i would like to read how a professional would connect the above instruments & hardware all together. Your opinion on this issue will be very valuable to me. p.s. If you please do your critic on the following hypothetical setup so as to check whether am I right or (absolutely) wrong on what i assume as a setup.

- Korg R3 Synth -> Alesis Linelink Audio out -> Mac USB (Audio Signal)
- Korg R3 Synth -> Midi In/Out -> Edirol Midi Interface -> Mac USB (Midi Signal)
- Korg R3 Synth -> Midi Thru -> Edirol Midi Interface (Midi In/Out) -> AKAI MPD32 (Midi In/Out) (Midi Signal)
- Korg Nanokey -> Directly to Mac USB (Midi Signal)

well the R3 has USB for MIDI so you don't need to plug that into an interface, connect it straight to the PC and make sure you install the drivers properly (including running the install program it puts in the start menu if you are on windows).
