expression pedal

hello - Ive just sent off for a Yamaha expression pedal FC7. Does anyone know if it will work with my Korg Triton workstation?

well - guess I will just have to hope so - any handy tips for the not very technical welcomed!

Fransisco: I think it will work out OK for you. I use a yamaha expression foot pedal on my Korg with no problems. Although it is not a triton, Oasys instead, the architecture for use of expression pedals is most likely similiar. After hooking up the pedal to the proper jack I went into Global mode and activated. I then set up the CC that I wanted to use for the programs and combis. I use mine basically for volume, but you are not limited to just that. Good luck with your new pedal.

I guessed as much! got pedal but how do I assign it ??? it is in the right socket, assignable pedal, but nothing happens when I try and use it - if you can help would be very happy thanks!
I never use this Korg Triton, someone gave it to me, so Im really a pianist you see . . .my excuse . . .

As nitecrawler said, go into global mode and on one of the tabs (on my TR, it's 1-1:4, 'Foot'), you'll be able to assign the behaviour that you want the pedal to perform.
