Recording from my PA500

Post by Petranelle »

When I purchased my PA500, I had assumed that I could make recordings on my computer. When I phoned Korg in NYC, they said it could not be done except by purchasing a very expensive hardware ($500). I was extremely disappointed. However, when I looked around the help on my PC it seemed as though it might be possible to attach a cable through the microphone jack on the CPU. Does anyone know anything about that. What kind of cable is needed? How is it done? No "computerese" please!! That is the problem with the help on the CPU!!! Can't understand it.

Well, it depends what you want for your recording. Do you need to "re-edit" your tracks on PC? if yes, then sure you need "special" hardware to make it happen. If no, that means you have to edit on your PA500, then just send stereo output from your PA500 to PC (stereo input of PC's soundcard)

That's it
