Hello, I've posted a bit already and just saw this forum and felt like I should introduce myself as well.
I'm new to the world of electronic music in general. As an outsider I've always been intrigued by it's complexity and scope of musical ability. My reasons for stepping up to the plate now is to create music for a game I'm making, and also as a creative outlet. After toying around in FL Studio I purchased an M-audio keystudio 49i. Messed around a bit with it, and decided I wanted something that wasn't so reliant on the computer. (That is not to say that I don't like FL studio, I love it, it gives you unlimited possiblities and only augments your hardware based instruments)
I big a fan of Korg for a while for no particular reason outside of hearing a few things about them in particular and liking their flagship the Oasys. I was looking at their lineup and was immediately intrigued by the Radias. After doing some reasearch and a lot of reading, I decided it was right for me and ordered it. Hopefully I'll have it before the 15 of Sep. Looking forward to it.
I am very much a noob at this. I have played the paino for some years a while back, can read music, and love music. One of the songs to finally push me offer the envelope of appreciating electronic music and trying to make it was the Chromatics song - Running up that hill. Just an amazing song.
I look forward to becoming a regular around here. Thanks for providing the forum and for the helpful feedback I've already gotten to my questions thus far!
