Tomorow after 12 PM...this forum is getting sick, annoying and boring.
And yes, the announcement will be on CNN, right at 12 PM.
Every single stupid topic turned into a PA800 and its 128MB, its too much.

They did so already. It's called the Pa2xPro. As well as expanding the RAM on your Pa800 to either 128 Mb or 256 Mb, you get a new 76-key keybed, a motorised tilt display, a dual MP3 board, an internal HD, some extra sliders and improved audio in/out/MIC circuitry.

The design of the Pa800 does not permit additional RAM to be fitted.

Hi

Post by essi124 »

This is a theory.because the pa800 is very beloved
and 128mb is a need for more samples...

There is nothing wrong when people ask the same thing 10 times. However, it is getting boring as Nedim sais that people do not take time to use the search engine for previous topics about this case.

In that topic, fill it with 100 pages if you want, but stop starting new ones with old same topics.

The design of the Pa800 does not permit additional RAM to be fitted.

Some of us on this forum are electronics engineers and we have checked the circuitry details. There is no way to do it.

May be the next generation of arranger keyboards will be more accomadating. Hopefully,They will be more software friendly, and also capable of holding more memory and such.

At the mean time, try not to overload your keyboard with tons of drum kits and audio loops that are pretty much the same thing. Once i looked at my friend's keyboard who had already maxed out the memory. I couldn't believe how much crap he had in there. Some of the styles were using like 4 different kits for no reason at all. So many horrible audio loops, so many useless kits that were pretty much the same, with the only difference that they had their drums assigned to different notes.....Don't quote me on this, but honestly i think if you get rid of all the junk in there, you'll be surprised how far a 64 mg can go...

Come on guys...

These keyboards are clearly specified - PA800 64MB :3dread:
....and as Nedim said:-
Nedim (BasariStudios) wrote:In my opinion there is nothing left for Korg to do for any PA nor i want them
to do anything...whats left??? They have 9 different PA models right now which
you can chose from of any price or features range, i dont think anything or
anyone is left out...no other company doest that and it goes like this:

Korg PA2XPRO
Korg PA800
Korg PA1XPRO
Korg PA1X
Korg PA500
Korg PA588
Korg PA80
Korg PA60
Korg PA50
There you have it - a pretty comprehensive range.

PA2Xpro is the answer to RAM limitations of the PA800.
Buy a bigger model and get more
Buy a smaller model and get less
.. applies to just about anything you buy these days..

Cheers
