Help.
I dont know if this is the correct place to post this but i need help with my Korg NanoPad. Can anyone please give me a very detailed step by step instruction on how to install it in your computer cause i did everything and still wont play on the EZDrummer Lite software. Thanks.
There is a section for the korg controllers inluding the nano series further down on the index.
Korg Kontrol49, microKontrol, padKontrol, nano and K series controllers
also in the future you may want to use a more useful subject line like 'nano pad installation'. Not that it bothers me, but it will help others know what you are looking for.
anyway, the instalation isn't quite a straight forward as you would think unfortunately. well, it is, but there is an extra step that isn't mentioned much that people miss out.
The KORG driver has to be associated with the device. once you've installed the driver on your computer (i'm assuming you're using windows? not a mac?), you need to plug in your nanopad, and go to:
Start > Programs > KORG > KORG USB-MIDI Driver > Install KORG USB-MIDI Device. or something similar. its pretty straightforward from there. you pick the device (probably only one - your nano pad), and hit 'install'. if it comes up with a driver signing warning, hit continue (basically manufacturers have to pay Microsoft for this warning not to come up
)
Thats it, you should be set to go.
