I'm wondering if the radias can make a sound like is heard through most of these videos:

I've done sounds like it on rolands in the store using the "super saw" but how would you do it on a radias, or can you?
How do you make a "Trance sound"

Detuned Unison oscillator saw wave with added unison. Or standard detuned saws with waveform modulation and unison.

in general, this kind of sound is achieved for starters by:
- set both waves to saw. as default in the initpatch
- Bring the mix of both to around 100-127
- detune OSC2 against OSC1 by adjusting the 'tune' (not semitone), to between 5 and 15 cents (depending on how thick you like the sound
- if it were me I'd use OSC2 as a sub oscillator too, tuning it down to -12 semitones. Thats just my preference.
-next set OSC1 modulation mode to 'Unison' (the single unison-detune for osc 1 which fakes 5 oscillators in OSC1) and adjust control 1 to change the detune amount (higher = thicker, less pitched sound). Adjust control 2 to change the emphasis on the attack (changes the starting phase).
OR
-keep OSC1 modulation on 'waveform'
-change control 2 (which will change how much of LFO1 is used to shape the sound. excessive amounts still work well.
-increase LFO1 rate to around the same region as LFO2's default - about 5.0-7.0Hz
-use virtual patch to route an amount of keytracking to LFO1. you could also route a bit of velocity to LFO1 rate to get more of a random detuned result.
finally:
-possibly turn on the voice unison, two voices works well. in fact the default settings are quite good
-I would use the 'ensemble' effect, adds a nice sparkle, less pronounced than the chorus. possibly a bit of reverb on IFX2 (or sounds nice the other way around - with the ensemble affecting the reverb tail too). I usually use a master limiter for most of my patches now for the master effect, as it gives a lot more punch. May not work in this case though.
filter settings and envelopes are more up to you.
edit:
on the videos, also sounds like a small amount of portamento may work well. or using envelope generator 3 (EG3) routed to OSC ctrl 1 (in 'unison' mode. or routed to LFO1 rate if using 'waveform' mode), to give a bit more unstable pitch at the start of the stab.
OR
check out my patch set on the download section here. There is a good starting point patch for this kind of thing (I think it is in the collection published here, if not then it will be in my next set) called 'Trancz'
