korg m 50 setting up frums to make a song

Can't seem to find how to use the sequencer to set up a series of drum patterns to make a song
ie- with my last drum machine, u started with a pattern, then u selected how many times each pattern was played and u linked the patterns to make your song,
how can i do it on the m 50

I use RPPR assingments, as many as I need in my song. Then I press the keys alternatively or together as the part of the song is requiered.
