Can't wait for my new M50-88!!

Post by dean »

I ordered a new M50-88 online and it's supposed to be here Wednesday!! :
Not nearly soon enough for me. I'm envious of all you folks with yours in hand. I am however enjoying reading through all your posts on this board. But it does make me want to jump through my skin in anticipation of my new treasure! Well, I suppose it's back to the Korg website for another look at the m50 promotional video. And then maybe I'll drown my sorrows with a few hours on my LesPaul! But all things considered....life is good!!

I hate to tease, but the M50 is FRIGGIN' AWESOME.

When I got mine, I was "ho-hum" at first because it didn't seem any better than my 10 year old Triton. Then I started to dig into the sound programming and saw what has been added/changed and how much better the 256MB sample set is.

This thing is not only awesome-ness, it's LIGHT as hell too.

You're going to love it. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the club!

That RH-3 keyboard action is really sweet and because the machine is better braced that the 61/73 the M50 feels rock solid and high quality. It also looks very cool 8)

Enjoy !

Yeah! I'm sooo... pumped!! My last board was a Korg X3. Before that, the Roland W30! Both dinosours now. I keep logging on to ups.com to track it. I't was last scanned in Nashville, Tn. About 5 hrs. from me. So close.. but yet so far! I'm sure I'll eventually be asking for help from all the brilliant minds here, but for now I just want to dive in and get my feet wet!! I've heard that patience is a virtue. But whoever said that obviosly never had to wait for an M50!! lol....Thanks for the encouraging words!

Dean, I'm certainly not one of the 'brilliant minds' you're referring to, but you're quite right - the knowledge some of these awesome folks on here is invaluable.

What I can say, tho, is that (as an owner of the M50-88) you will definitely be blown away !!!

The keybed is a delight, & if it were only an 'electric piano' you would be more than pleased..... but it has soooo many more aces up it's sleeve !!!

Enjoy.

Long live the 80's!!!

Ok back on topic  ..........

How do ya like the drum tracks? I love being able to change them with ease thanks to the touch screen. I think it's one of my favorite features of the board. It sounds pretty good as well 8)
