Pedal switch application - any advice?

Post by jpscoey »

I have just acquired a 'Soundlab' switch pedal, and have adjusted all the neccessary settings to make it operate in a 'program-up' mode...
ie: when I press it, I 'scroll' to the next prog/combi.

I know it's in the correct output switch/socket etc (I have a Korg half-damper pedal plugged into the 'damper' socket, and the 'pedal' socket is currently free),
however, in order for it to work correctly, the pedal requires *two* presses.

Is this normal, or is it just the actual pedal I'm using?

it's the pedal. The pedal you have is an on-off switch. You need a momentary switch.

Thanks, Mc

Does the pedal I've got have any other useful applications? (no loss if not - it was given to me).
