Hi folks,
I'm new to the M-50 and new to the world of DAW's (my last recording was 20 years ago on 16track DAT)...the learning curve is huge.
I'm attempting to get the m-50 editor to work as a vst in cubase (Essential 4). It works as a stand alone app when not in cubase but when I'm in there, the editor will load under the VST menu...but no interaction at all.
I must be missing something very obvious....any suggestions?
Regards,
Paul

Help with M-50 editor VST Cubase

I'm very new to the M50, and am not using it the way you want to .. but there are apparently 2 versions of the editor .. the standalone M50 Editor and the M50 Pug-in Editor. From the installation doc ..
“M50 Editor/Plug-In Editor Installer” will appear. Successively select and install the Editor (Standalone), Plug-In Editor (VST), and/or Plug-In Editor (RTAS) as desired.
Did you install the plug-in version?

Yes I've installed the plug in version and it loads in Cubase...just can't get any interaction with it after loading...no sounds, no editing...etc.
Again, it does work for me in stand-alone mode but I'm not sure what I've missed while in Cubase?
