M3-73 + Radias
I am looking at purchasing an M3-73 model and have seen the addition of a Radias on the M3-88 (Keith Emerson's video), can it be mounted in a similar fashion on the smaller 73 key version ?
Thanks !

Yes it can.
I believe the M3-73 can fit an M3-M and Radias module side by side whilst the M3-88 can have either the above or 2 M3-M modules side by side.

M3-73 + Radias
I have the M3-73 and the Radias. I love the combination. You will need to buy a special braket to mount the Radias-R next to the M3M. Here is a link to the bracket that is required to mount the Radias-R next to the M3M.

Can you please post a link to Keith Emerson's video?

or if you search Keith Emerson playing Korg M3 at NAMM on www.Youtube.com, you will get the same video, that's where I saw this neat setup on the 88 version.

Rockitman, did you need to do any specialized setup on the M3 when integrating the Radias to the M3-73 ?

Great news: Keith Emerson has a new album, you can order an autographed copy direct from him here. Mine was sent a few days ago, can't wait to hear it!!
KEITH EMERSON BAND FEATURING MARC BONILLA
(CD - Autographed)
Being Keith Emerson's first studio venture in over a decade, this much anticipated album brings together several influential contributors: Marc Bonilla (co-writer, guitar and vocals), Gregg Bissonette and Joe Travers (drums and percussion), Bob Birch and Travis Davis (bass), and Steve Porcaro (programming). Successfully combining classic design with contemporary grit and passion, this album champions the spirit of true progressive rock.

Radias-R & M3 73
Your M3-73 will come with a second port connector that will plug into the Radias-R. At that point the M3 keyboard will play the Radias.
Here is Korg's words on that:
If you’re connecting the RADIAS-R to the 73/88-key keyboard assembly, connect the M3-M to the TO MODULE connector, and the RADIAS-R to the
TO MODULE (2nd) connector.
Next, I plugged the Radias-R's stereo audio outs into the M3's audio in 1/2.
Here is Korg's words on that:
Monitoring the audio output of the M3-M and RADIAS-R
If you would like an easy way to monitor the audio output of the M3-M and RADIAS-R without using a mixer or similar device, connect the RADIAS-R’s MAIN OUT jacks to the M3-M’s AUDIO INPUT jacks, set the M3-M’s rear panel AUDIO INPUT [MIC/LINE] switch to LINE, and set the Global P0: Basic Setup- Audio page “Bus Select” setting to L/R. With these settings, you’ll be able to monitor the sound via the M3-M’s headphone jack (or main output jacks). To adjust the volume, use the M3-M’s rear panel AUDIO INPUT [LEVEL] knob and the RADIAS-R’s [VOLUME] knob.
Or you can read the original Korg document for yourself...

Fantastic, thanks very much for your input on the original question, looks like I'll be getting the M3 soon and will be able to connect my son's Radias to complete the setup.

It's a shame that MA-L and MA-T are so difficult to find and ridiculously expensive in Europe compared to USA...
