Sam,

Your request is unfulfillable because Oasys is a hardware synth and does not have patches that transfer to any other device. All the patches stay in the Oasys. There is no connection to Protools of any kind. Even if you were to sample the sounds, you'd need an amazing amount of samples to even come close.

Dan Phillips has a nice download with the patch name scripts etc. for the Mac OS X version of ProTools, but I am guessing that ProTools for Windows uses a different format than the Mac ? What format are the patch name scripts for PT Windows ?

Curiosity got the better of me; it looks like both Mac and Windows use .midnam files for this purpose :

If that is right then there are midnam files in Dan's Mac package that we could get over to you (you won't be able to unpack the .dmg archive on a PC readily). Does that sound like what you need ?

Daz,

Did you guys ever look into unpacking and using the *.midnam file in windows? I just made the switch to Pro Tools (windows) and am looking for the same thing. They have many intstruments already pre-loaded in Version 8 but our beloved Big O is not on the list.

Thought I'd bump this thread with the ProTools *.midnam files for the OASYS programs and combis unpacked and in Windows form. ProTools users enjoy.

Thanks to Dan for the original work in MacOS X.
