Hi,
I sampled an input and saved it to A. The problem is that when playing the sample loop back, it plays through some FX, but not through others.
For example, when I try playing it back with granular GRN1, nothing. The sample cuts to silence when the XY is played, but when the XY is inactive, the sample loop from A goes back on. But previous samples (saved earlier on the SD card) play back with GRN1 applied with no problems!
Some effects on the new sample will work... FLT, MOD, LFO, and some delay. But effects such as DLY4/5 and the Grains, nothing.
Am I making a stupid error? Or is my KP3 ill? (I'm using OS 2.0).
NP.

Did you ever figure this out?
I actually have the same - or a similar problem.....
At some point, certain effects such as GRN1 stopped working properly. I have tried both Direct and Send mode. In my case it is not sample-related, they simply don't work. I can get GRN3 to function but the rest of the Granulars are weirding out.
I have not tried to connect my KP3 to the editing software, so I will try this next and see if get some clues there

I'm having the same problem.
When you say previous samples play back with GRN1 applied, do you mean the effect was recorded onto the sample which you stored to the card? Or can you really use the effect on your saved samples?
Anyway, I've been reading several threads about the broken effects problem, and nobody seems to have an answer to it, so I'm going to try to take it in somewhere. Hope it's fixable.
It's weird, the grain shifter was the first effect to stop working on my KP3, too.
