Changing time signature on the Korg KAOSSILATOR

Post by Reveirg »

I'm new on the forums, hi everyone!

I just bought a Korg KAOSSILATOR. That tool is awesome. I love everything about it, from the high quality of the synth sounds to the very easy to use interface.

I'm having trouble with one thing though. I can't seem to find how to change the time signature for the loops (if it is at all possible). I'm trying to loop a song in 6/8 (Idioteque!), and it's impossible to loop as it is now because it loops in 4/4...

Thanks for your help :)

It's an audio looper, not a sequencer. If you play in 6/8 or triplets per beat, that's what you'll hear. The arpeggiator doesn't have any triplets so far as I know, so you're stuck with getting the timing right yourself. You'll probably be better off with the DS-10, because it is a sequencer and you can shorten the length of patterns to be divisible by 3.
