Hello

Post by Sizlack »

Just purchased the entire nano series of midi controllers. Doing alot of stuff in Fruityloops right now...looking to pick up Ableton Live when I have a little extra cash. Currently I'm just trying to learn how most of this works, I've messed around with midi a little in the past but never really accomplished much (pain in the ass with just a mouse and keyboard). I'm hoping to get some decent material written, pick up a guitarist and bass player and start doing live shows.
My main interest is in Metal so i'm looking at doing an industrial death metal thing...thus far drums are the hardest for me.
If you'd like to check out my first craptacular attempt you can find it here...

You're not alone there!
I think for a lot of us, drums are the biggest challenge.
My solution came from Toontracks EZ drummer, but Ableton may help you there also.
Good luck, and welcome.
