Want suggestion

Hi champs! actually im new entry in this forum. Im owning yamaha psr 1500 arranger keyboard from last 2 yrs. Welll now i wanna purchase workstation which shud be good at home as well as at stage(live). I have read lot about M-50. I actually want workstation which should provide me recording of midi files into laptop and after some modification i wud able to save it back to keyboard. As Im using yamaha which have rich styles(beats) and plenty of voices. Will you please suggest me will these features will availbe in M-50?? and also what is KARMA and what are the softwares availble in the market to record songs from keyboard to laptop.
