88 key midi controllers

Post by jeffg »

Hey all,

just picked up an M50-61 and would like to compliment it with a decent 88 key midi controller. Don't need anything top of the line, just some nice weighted keys.

Recommendations?

Thanks!

There are so many different ones to fit so many budgets. And it really is all about feel.

For example, I like the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 but some people HATE it.

Maybe you should hit a local music store and taste test! :D

Hi!

It's highly subjective...
I like strong and heavy keyb action, but it's all about you.
You can give a look to the CME, or to a used Oberheim MC3000...The most beautiful, IMHO, are Roland A-90 controllers, but they're so hard to find.
