PIMP YOUR ELECTRIBE WITH A SKIN!

Post by h4ndcrafted »

Found this link through the korg site

design your own skin, did a search but found no topic on this, must be a repost though.

anyways i'm bust designing now!

http://www.styleflip.com/index.php?main ... &face_id=1

just choose the skin you want and upload your design..cool huh

Hello btw I'm new but had an mx since issue, got mine from Belgium for just £300 when they were new..which was a steal at the time.

Love everything about it..although the drums take some layering to get original contemp sounds now dayz.

I'm about to post on the vactube replace thread so answers please ;)

Last time i was at Vital vinyl they were really pushing these. They seemed ok, but dont really seem very durable and they say they come of clean but over time i think they would leave a residue.

I was considering to make my ESX black with green writings, but the total price including shipping to Norway put me off..

If I still had my esx and didn't fry it, I would consider getting one but it's too expensive and I'm not as fond of the esx as I am of the emx :)

where can I get new knobs that will fit the ESX? Someone posted a link to a site once but the site didn't give prices and I don't know the size of the ESXs knobs either.

On second thought, every ESX/EMX that I've seen with new knobs looked like s**t and I guess some people caused knob jitters taking off the effect and data knobs.

never understood why anyone would change the knobs on their X-tribes, they're quite nice methinks :)

HAHAHAHAHA !!! Silver plastic looks great ?? come on .

If u can honestly tell me my mx looks s**t with a complete change of knobs then i think u need your eyes checked .

Rubber coating gives better grip , better tweaking ...... but man i dont care really , i know whats good .

ALL esx/emx with plastic silver knobs look like toys ..

My friends mx looks AND sounds cheap side by side with mine .
Skins ??? mmm , ok ..

oh I have to say I see this the other way ;) The knobs on my ER/EA for instance, look, well, boring.. I've seen a couple pictures of an X-tribe with changed knobs back to those black rubber ones on the ER/EA/ES-tribes, and to me, that just looks ugly. I considered changing the knobs on my ER to the same knobs as on my ESX, but finding the parts and shipping and all, it was just too much a hassle.. I guess different people have different preferences ;)

mmm .. if u say so . Ive owned all tribes bar esx , and LOVE real tweaky knobs ... when sweaty , the plastic is useless !!
My friend has er-mkII , and those knobs are simply crap .. nevermind that the original tribes look better anyway . I hav to admit tho that erII sound ALOT better than erI .

Still you're right , each person has a right to their opinion ... its just that in this case im right ..... hahahaha only joking mate

tweak on
