Midi Sync with Zone 3D ??

Hi I'm trying to sync my EMX to my Allen & Heath Zone 3D !! I can get the play button on the EMX to go off and on via the 3D but no sound ?? Any ideas

When the EMX recieves a midi clock from an external device does the small green light flash as it does in INT and Auto mode ??? Can get the EMX to play from my Xone 3d when it is on Auto mode but it's not in time !!?
