Starting at a measure rather than the first? EMX

Post by Mvp82 »

Is it possible to start recording at a measure rather than the first? I'm recording a synth part over these drums i recorded and it's getting pretty tedious having to start at the very beginning each time.

Thanks for help

I do not see why you have to start at the beginning at all?

What is stopping you from pressing the record button while you are playing and recording it from the second bar or whatever?

Hit play on your box, and then light the record key up. And away you go.

Bring the keyboard in whenever you want.

It's real-time recording.

I think you just have to wait, I do not know of any other way.

When you're dealing with small patterns like the ESX and EMX< it's not a huge problem I guess.

8 bar patterns would be the worst I suppose...
