best collection of symphonic sounds?

Post by Hazard445 »

Does anyone know any websites with collections of symphonic programs for the korg triton? All I seem to find are lead sounds and I was looking for more symphonic material.

I dont know if he would really find anything for TRITON in there, unless he
has a TRITON with 50GB of RAM.

You don't need 50GB of RAM to load in the samples that you want. Just 16MB-96MB. In fact, a single volume comes in 2 CD-ROMs, supporting several formats, which really brings you to under 100MB - 200MB of RAM used if you were to try to load ALL the samples. You pick and choose what you want, and load it in. You don't have to load everything, just the samples you want. There's even a utility on the website so you can see what samples each disc contains, and decide if you want the volume or not.

I never said to get the EWQL libraries, or RA and COLLOSSUS. I suggested the ProSamples libraries... Specifically:

Volume 11
http://www.soundsonline.com/ProSamples- ... -PS11.html

Volume 51 http://www.soundsonline.com/ProSamples- ... -PS51.html

Other volumes that might be great would be:
http://www.soundsonline.com/ProSamples- ... -PS20.html
http://www.soundsonline.com/ProSamples- ... -PS53.html

Also this one I have and is a lot of fun to play with, but this is not a disc of instrument sounds:
http://www.soundsonline.com/ProSamples- ... -PS33.html

I never suggested the EWQL packages, those are virtual instruments, I don't even know that they would be compatible w/ a Triton at all. I was very clear when i suggested Prosamples Volumes 11 and 51. These are SAMPLE DISCS put together to be used by SAMPLERS. So please stop picking my post apart, if you disagree, then post a suggestion of your own please.

I feel like I just discovered a UFO in my backyard after hearing that Symphonic Choirs package. I didn't think technology had come along that far. I think I'm going to have to rethink a few things just to use that!
