Hello from Sonoma County CA

Post by mconverse »

Greetings everyone.

I'm glad I found this forum. I'm mainly a player more than an editor/programmer/tweaker but not long ago I found a need to really 'get inside' the Triton system.

I have the rack version. I still play my 10-year old Kurzweil PC88 as a keyboard controller and didn't upgrade keyboards (was considering the Extreme 88 key) because that keyboard was like an old-pair of shoes or blue-jeans - just comfortable and it was more economic to just get a rack.

I mainly have used presets and have added banks since I purchased my rack 3 years ago but after some time I figured out how to add affects, do some simple sampling - very basic stuff I'm sure compared to others here. But like I said, recent needs have required me to pull out that thick manual and do some reading - and there has been some degree of swearing going on when it doesn't work right  but I've made some progress.
