Is it a bug?I press motion sequence and record the motion sequence. The record light says on for another 4 measures and the motion sequence doesn't play back as i recorded it,it plays back to front!Any idea why?Don't know what OS i have but i'm sure i updated it when i first got it.The rec light should go out after 8 bars so that must be to do with it.It's like it starts recording the changes 4 bars late

Try saving your data to card. Then do a factory reset. then try reording a motion sequence on a pattern using a metronome count in. Then try one without a count in, What happens then?

Haven't got round to it yet but i will.I'd like to record the motion sequences and then record the midi patterns into live for further editing(or to audio) instead of having to go trough clip automation(never mind live use!).Hope it's not a fault

Damn, I am having this problem, why would it be doing this?
Is it a faulty unit?
It's always done this I think, but I am now getting into more motion sequencing and it records an extra measure after I take off record, PLUS, it bumps the first measure forward one.
Hmm.. I am going to fight with this some more.
Do you really think I need to reset my ESX and test it like that?
I might try... But I got a song to work on,.
=)

May be a bug as two units are doing the same thing..
I haven't used my MX for a while but was planning to break it out so i think i'll do a reset.I ay be sellig mine so i need to know if this
is a fault or a bug..I hope the latter!

Well I own an ESX, so it's spread across two models then!

did you try clearing the entire motion sequence, before rerecording your own?
Sometimes i forget to do this and it makes things really difficult.
