Restore factory settings on EMX-1

Hey all!
Does anyone know how to perform a master reset to retrieve all the factory preset patterns, if this operation is even possible??

aye, it is possible, its in teh manual somewhere, i'll have a look when i gets home, unless anyone else has one to hand............

hold down the transpose and the write key when you turn on the machine, the play button will blink. press play to reload all the factory presets.

F*#§!!! i erased EVERYTHING! not only the user banks, but the factory presets needs to be uploaded again through a damn smart media card! which is impossible to find unless used.
So if u like me read this post, BE AWARE of doing the factory reset! It will erase ALL the data - and the manual is not SO clear about this... argh

Q: I'm having difficulty in finding Smart Media cards. Is there an alternative?

A: With this storage medium being more difficult to source, we have successfully tested using an SMC <> XD picture card adaptor with the TritonLE and Electribe products. You should be aware that this does not make it possible to use the larger size cards that are available in XD format, please refer to your owners manual regarding card sizes that can be used with your particular product.

It is important that the adaptor on the SMC connection end has at least 45mm of "insertable" pcb otherwise the adaptor will not go far enough into the Korg product and make proper contact. We recommend that you check this with your supplier before making any purchase.
