Hey what a great offer! It's INSANE to give away a FREE Radias-R! :verycool:

How come European customers is excluded from this Anniversary??
But hey... I guess they need some of the customers to pay for all those free Radias modules they give away. Besides... European customers are obviously not worth a s**t to Korg!

Too bad I live in Europe.

this doesn't :3dshocked: me, I never seen a korg promotion in Italy... and prices are a lot higher than in the States... so I'm starting not to buy korg anymore... even if I love my Triton pro X, I think that it's difficult a new korg will fit in my studio. Only some promotion or a price drop can make me change my mind.

So what?? Is the anniversary only in USA?? As far as I know the M1 was released world wide. I bet that if I count backwards I will come to the conclusion that the M1 was released 20 years ago in the rest of the world. Or maybe USA have a different way of counting time?

Wouldn't you know it. I've had my board for about two and a half months and this offer comes along. Damnit. I hope they're not offering this because of poor sales of the M3. Korg really needs to release a boatload of new programs/combis because the XS seems to have more of what musicians are looking for. Like I said before, this board has the potential to be killer, but the programming seems to not be up to par. (Please, no disrespect to the Korg programmers.) I just don't believe the programs currently available is what most musicians are looking for. The M3 needs to have the velocity fixed for more expressive playing, especially piano, more variety of piano, accoustic and electric sounds, organs (you would think that Korg would have at least had ONE program with all 8 sliders used in a B3 program, but I sure can't find it) more fuller sounding strings -- well, I'm getting off topic here. A free Radias is a great deal. Certainly the XS can't offer anything like that.

At least not that we are aware of, but they don't have a Radias. Sales are also very strong for the XS so they don't need to create any specials now. Remember Yamaha has Steinberg and they may have something new at NAMM as well. Korg may be doing this as an offset to the new workstations being announced by Roland and Kurzweil. They may also be addressing poor sales or since this after Xmas and sales are usually slow this time of year, this may be a way to entice people to buy now.
And there was this one time at band camp......

Korg USA usually has some type of promotion at the end of the year. The promotions usually start in September through the end of December, but this one is a little different (January - March)

Too bad the M3-M isn't included in the promo.

The M3-88 is a great promotion. Too bad I don't need an 88-key keyboard.

Not usually. The thing about promotions are you never know when they are going to happen.

Each Korg Country Distributor determines pricing and promotions. For better or worse (depending on where you live), the U.S. market is probably the largest market for most workstations, so the U.S. usually has the best promotions.

You guys from Sweden, you ALREADY have the beautiful Swedish women. What more do you need? :)

you should have asked our opinion

Its conventional wisdom to NEVER buy a big name workstation close to NAMM

I think its ok, in terms of price to buy stuff under $500 prior to Xmas.

And what is ' close to NAMM' ? I would say starting October 15

Korg?
not necessarily

You likely cut a sharp deal, didn't you ?

Now korg is making the negotiating a little cleaner- by forking over
the ' street discount ' amount in the form of a rebate
