Hello from Deepest Arkansas. O1/W > TR61

Post by guitar_player »

Hello! My Korg O1/W recently died and I couldn't find a technician willing to repair it. So... Now I'm a happy TR61 owner! The guitar is my main instrument, but I also love the keyboards. I'm grateful for the wealth of information here! Maybe should have looked her more BEFORE I gave up on my O1/W. I'd still like to get it fixed.

Thanks for a great forum!!!

I tried those, Springfield, Memphis, and one around Nashville. I wasn't exhaustive, but I had to do it on work breaks. I'll keep in and see what happens. Most simply didn't repair O1/Ws anymore and suggested buying a newer model. Thanks though! If anyone near Arkansas is capable, I'd be happy to let them take a look at it.

Hello guitar_player,

Sorry to hear about your O1W. I loved that board. I was gonna buy one on ebay but it sold for more than I wanted to pay!

Oh yeah BTW - Welcome to the forum :3dbeer:

Welcome to the forum GP ! You might find a local guy prepared to do the work for you if you supply the service manual and source for spare parts such as korgparts.com

Thanks sds and daz! I appreciate your welcome and the input. It's pretty easy for me to get lost inside my little box. I haven't made it to korgparts.com but I'll take a trip soon. I've got a couple of musician kids in their 20s that could still put the O1/W to good use.

Thanks guys!
