floppy drive not working

floppy drive not working
my KORG PA80's floppy drive is not working.what could be the reason?
One sure way to tell:
1) take the floppy drive out of the Keyboard
2) install it in a PC and check to see if it works, if not, buy a new floppy drive (very cheap these days)
3) if it works, you could try to replace the floppy cable (in the keyboard), make sure power connection is tight to the drive.
4) if that still does not help, then you got to send it in for repair (the floppy interface hardware could be defective, very unlikely but possible).
