Nice to see that some people continue to create external things for the Kronos.

I don't plan to buy one since I modified my screen to be tiltable at any angle, but this could be interesting for some, even though of course the external monitor won't give you touch access to the Kronos functions.

I strongly recommend though to anyone buying this kit to be very careful if you decide to drill a hole in your Kronos metal casing. It WILL create tiny metallic particles inside so you will have to vacuum those out carefully before you restart your machine. I have done several mods on my Kronos and I would say that personally, I would disassemble quite a few things before proceeding to drill it or instead use a HDMI male/female cable that would come out from the wooden under panel, etc.

Finally, think this board covers the top-most requested feature for the Kronos. Any plans to add touch screen support over USB C for external touch screen monitors? What is the video update latency between what we see on the Kronos and the external monitor? Video doesn't seem to capture this but did notice some latency when switching menu options.

This KRONOS-HDX board is pretty much what was noted in this thread but uses a TFP410PAP chip instead:

Not necessarily true, simple solution, simply tape or hot glue a pill bottle (or other small tube-ish shaped item) to the inside drill exiting area of the case and any metallic particles would be fully contained in said pill bottle, then deburr the drilled surface to ensure any particles are free and fully pushed into pill bottle. However, I would take caution to ensure you do not drill too far into the case and damage near-by board/components, this can be limited by adding a wood block to the drill bit such that only, at most, a 1/4" of the drill bit is exposed.
