Os 1.4.2 End Of November

I read a post on Facebook with a message from KORG Italy that os 1.4.2 will be released at the end of November

Hi,
I am in the market to buy Korg Pa5X (switching from pa 1000 to pa5X). if I buy a new Pa5X, will it come with upgraded OS or do I have to upgrade it myself?
Also, I read many problems with the current korg pa 5X OS, is it better to wait until they fix all the bugs then buy.

It is depending on who or where you buy the 5X from as how long it was stored in stock. Check the keyboard system info, if the OS is old, update it. The OS update is easy and it only take a few minutes to do it after downloading from Korg's website.

If you rather wait for all the fixes completed before buying it, you will never have the 5X to play because it's never gonna be perfect

For me, a hobbyist home player, it’s perfect. The best keyboard I ever owned and a joy to play every day. I absolutely love my PA5X.
