Recording 'Pads' sounds.

Post by joned »

PA300
I have done a search and surprised I can't find this topic previously covered. It may be because the answer is obvious, but here goes anyway!
I successfully recorded a tune using the sequencer facility but would love to include two of the 'pads' sounds.
Is there a way of recording the 'pad' sounds on a sequencer track (or any other way) please?

regards to all....

Make a backup of the recorded sequence first. Seems obvious, but easy to overlook when concentrating on doing something new.

Look at the sections covering Overdubbing in the User Manual - page 76, and the Record Mode: Multitrack Sequencer section on page 126 of the User Manual. The required Pad sounds will need to be added to unused tracks, and those tracks will need to be armed i.e. set to Record. All the remaining tracks will need to be set to Play.
